Day 2: Yamunotri Darshan

Yatra starts from the capital of Uttarakhand, the queen of the hills, Dehradun.
Chardham Yatra by helicopter in 4 nights and 5 days offers you a chance to pay homage to your lords and enjoy some refreshing moments, nestle in the lap of nature. While Yamunotri is the seat of river Goddess Yamuna, Gangtori is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Badrinath is known as the abode of Lord Vishnu (Badri) and Kedarnath is a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Departure from Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun (07:00 AM). Arrival at Kharsali helipad, Yamunotri (07:30 AM).
Assemble at the State government helipad on Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, the starting and concluding point of this yatra. The ground staff briefs you about the do’s and don’ts of the trip. As you arrive at the Kharsali helipad for Yamunotri, you are transferred to your hotel.
After freshening up, You will get palki and leave for VIP darshan at temple Yamunotri. The main attractions here are Goddess Yamuna and the thermal springs at Janki Chatti.

The actual Champasar glacier is at an altitude of 4421 m above the seal level and is inaccessible. The temple, placed on the left bank of Yamuna River, was erected by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal. The idol of the Goddess here is in black marble. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Ganogotri Darshan

Departure from Yamunotri helipad (07: 45 AM). Arrival at Harsil Helipad (08:30 AM).

On day 2, Depart from Yamunotri helipad and arrive at Harsil
Helipad, lying amidst the beautiful lush Uttarakhand valleys.
The day is scheduled for visiting the next Chardham destination of Uttarakhand- Gangotri. It is advisable that you visit the Gangotri temple, right from the helipad. The temple is located at a distance of 22 km from here which will be cover by cab. Arrive at the temple around 50 minutes later.
After Darshan at Gangotri temple, get transferred to your hotel in the afternoon. After completing the check-in, have your lunch. Later, you can relax for some time. Day 4: Kedarnath Darshan

Kedarnath is flanked by breathtaking snow-capped peaks, making it the most remote site among all four Char Dham sites.
We will arrive to guptkashi helipad from Gangotri, here after changing the chopper we will fly for KEDARNATH Helipad. Temple is approx. 500 meters away from helipad and will take approx. 15 min to reach.

It also features beautiful yellow sand, camel safaris, magnificent castles, marvelous Havelis and beautiful Jain temples; this mystical cum exciting place will leave you in great enchantment. Day 3: Jaisalmer city Tour

You have a full day tour of Jaisalmer. Your first travel destination is the Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the oldest living forts of the world. The fort is constructed by using an yellow stone which from a distance makes its shine like it is made of gold, due to which it is also known as “Sonar Quila” or "The Golden Fort". Located in midst of sandy terrains, the 12 the century fort is a blend of Indian architecture with Military designs crafted on it. The palaces of Maharwals contain ornamental designs of wooden carvings that enhance the beauty of this fort. You will get to see a 5 storied Tazia Tower in this fort which reflects architectural skills of local craftsmen during ancient period. The next stop in your program will be visit to some of the havelis. Salim Ji Ki Haveli made up of yellow sandstone with balconies designed in different styles of architecture still has a large number of people residing here. Designed beautifully, the Haveli is built in with intricate roof carvings and served as residence for Mohta family for decades. It has exquisitely carved pillars painted with beautiful ornaments of Gold and silver. Day 4: Jaisalemer to Jodhpur by road

On this morning, you will drive to Jodhpur (also known as the Sun City or the Blue City), the second largest city in the state and the former capital of Marwar kingdom. The city is in the route of Delhi to Gujarat and was a trading center for copper, silk, opium, etc. Jodhpur is famous for its festivals and fairs, and Teej, Nag Panchami, Gangaur, etc. are celebrated with big pomp. The city has become an important center for both big weddings and movie shoots.
In the afternoon, you will be taken to Meherangarh Fortress, one of the most massive fortresses in India. It is situated on a low sandstone hill, at an altitude of 120 meters. The fortress, with menacing thick walls, contains - Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, etc. - with expansive courtyards and intricate carvings.
You will then visit Jaswant Thada, built in 1889 by Sardar Singh in remembrance of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and whose entire structure is constructed out of thin and polished sheets of Marble. Your visit moves to Umaid Public Gardens which contains the Government Museum, with a collection of artifacts showing the rich history and cultural traditions of the region. The transport is at your disposal within the city limits. You will stay overnight in Jodhpur.

If time allows, you could also pay a visit to the Surya Temple. In the evening, you will relax in Udaipur, otherwise known as the City of Lakes or the Venice of the East. It was founded by Rana Udai Singh and was the historic capital of Mewar kingdom. Later drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival at Udaipur check in at Hotel.

Today your full day tour starts with the City Palace, situated on the bank of Pichola Lake. This Palace was constructed by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh in 1559 A.D. Your next stop is the Jagdish Temple built by Maharana Jagat Singh. The architecture of this temple is based on Indo-Aryan style and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the biggest shrines of Udaipur. You will be taken on a drive around Fatehsagar Lake, built in 1678 by Maharana Fateh Singh. Your next stop will be at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir located near Chetak Circle. It is one of most renowned museums of Udaipur, exhibiting the dazzling gathering of folk articles of Rajasthan. Your final destination will be at Sahelion ki Bari (Queen's resort for her friends). Boat ride on Lake Pichola - Enjoy a Boat cruise on Pichola Lake 4 km long and 3 km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, palaces, Temples, bathing Ghats and embankments. This magnificent construction was made with red sandstone and marble by Raja Man Singh, has four sections - each with a courtyard. Surajpol, the main entrance gate, has a fascinating architecture. You could ascend it by walking up the steps or by jeeps.
Later, you will be transferred to Agra en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. Aside from being another UNESCO world heritage site, Fatehpur Sikri holds exceptional testimony to Mughal civilization. You will visit the Jama Masjid, followed by the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five-story Panch Mahal, and Buland Darwaza, a graceful monument and stupendous piece of beautiful architectures. The Pallavas were instrumental in the transition from rock-cut architecture to stone temples. We visit Ekambareswarar to appreciate these architectural wonders built in 600 AD.

Kailasanathar temple was built in 7th century AD and is famous for its magnificent Vimana, the gopuram over the Sanctum Sanctorum. It speaks volumes of architectural beauty that flourished in the reign of Pallava Kings. The temple is adorned with many interesting sculptures of Lord Shiva in 64 postures, which presents a picture of different aspects in mythology. The fresco paintings are beautifully embellished in the inner walls of the shrine.

The sarees are weaved from pure mulberry silk thread. We will visit one such Weaver and it will be a memorable experience.

We reach the historical town of Sri Rangapatnam which was the capital of Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore, in the 18th century. We will trace his life from the day he fought a tiger and killed it with a dagger, his brave battles with the British, his administrative and economic reforms and his pioneering usage of rockets in warfare. He is credited with being a pioneer in using rockets for warfare and the British later improvised on his technology during the World War I.

Day 17: Fort Kochi visit

On your own today you explore the Portuguese island of Fort Kochi. Visit the Jewish synagogue and old churches, observe the fishing with the Chinese fishing nets and stroll through the small streets of the city.

Day 18: Ride in the backwaters and houseboat tour

Stop At: Kerala Backwaters, India
Your private driver will drive you to the backwaters canal system. In a small village, the houseboat is waiting for you and you spend the day and the night on the floating home. Enjoy the slow ride on the eco houseboat - this houseboat is powered not by an engine, but by man power and who likes, can even lend a hand. Meals are served on the boat and it can be bathed in the nearby sea.

A Tiger focused safari with our experienced naturalist in Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks. These are two premium Tiger reserves in central India with consistently good Tiger sightings. Apart from Tigers, these parks are also home to Leopards, Sloth Bears. Indian Wild Dogs, Indian Gaur, Hard Ground Barasingha, Sambar Deers, Spotted Deers, Jackals, Wolfs, several other mammals and close to 300 species of birds. So this tour has a lot to offer for all nature lovers. The beauty of these two parks is mesmerizing, and you will never want this tour to end.

The lodges that we chose for you are carefully audited and regularly used by us. We will provide you two different naturalists, one in each park. They are highly experienced and have full know-how about the Jungle lore. Safaris are conducted in open safari vehicles. These safaris will be for just you exclusively with our driver and a naturalist. All your inter-destination transfers will be in an air-conditioned vehicle just for you.

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from New Delhi, fly to Raipur, pick from Raipur airport, drive to Kanha, 4 hour drive, afternoon safari

Pass By: Mukki Gate, Kanha National Park India
Rudyard Kipling was inspired by Kanha and wrote the famous Jungle Book. This park has Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, DHoles (Indian Wild Dogs), Hard Ground Barasingha, Indian Gaur, Jackals, lot of other mammals, and close to 300 species of birds. Tiger safaris accompanied by our experienced naturalists are conducted in an open safari vehicle. Morning safari begins ar sunrise and is of 5 hours duration. You return for lunch, and again prepare to go for an afternoon safari and return by sunset to your Jungle Lodge. Similar days follow, and there are other activities arranged like a birding walk in the buffer forest, visit a local village or a local school. Tiger sightings are a matter of chance, but one increases one's chances by doing more safaris.

• Breakfast: Breakfast is served on the bonnet of the vehicle. Listening to bird and animal calls, the breakfast never tasted so good
• Lunch: Either served in the dining room of the Jungle Lodge, or in a quaint peaceful corner created fo peaceful meals.
