Your journey begins with a visit to Gandhi Smriti in New Delhi where Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and where he was assassinated on January 30, 1948. View the preserved room where Gandhi lived and see the grounds where he was shot during his nightly public walk. The museum here houses various articles associated with Gandhi's life and death.

Your next stop is the 'Gandhi Memorial Museum', commonly known as 'National Gandhi Museum'. The origin of this museum dates back to the period soon after the assassination showcases personal relics, manuscripts, books, journals and documents as well as photographic and audio-visual material.

Continue to Raj Ghat. Located on the west bank of the Yamuna River and set in the midst of deep green lawns a simple square platform marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Raj Gat is a memorial to Gandhi inscribed with the words "Hey Ram", the last words uttered by Gandhi before collapsing after being shot.

Explore Jaipur’s top cultural and architectural attractions on this private sightseeing tour. Marvel at the impressive architectural styles of sprawling palatial complexes such as Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, and City Palace, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Jantar Mantar. In between sights, indulge in an authentic Indian lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll travel in the comfort and ease of a private, air-conditioned vehicle and spend between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours at each attraction, depending on your preferences.

Your guide will pick you up from your Jaipur hotel in the morning and take you by private, air-conditioned vehicle to Amber Fort. Upon arrival at the bottom of the hill near Maota Lake, you’ll enjoy a jeep ride up to the fort.

Once at the top of the hill, follow your guide inside Amber Fort to visit Jai Mandir, a chamber of glittering mirrors; Shila Devi Temple; Diwan-e-Aam, an 18th-century monument known as the ‘Hall of Public Audience;’ and its counterpart, Diwan-e-Khas, a Mughal- and Rajasthan-style monument known as the ‘Hall of Private Audience.’ You’ll also get a great bird's-eye view of Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.
